Born in Liberal KS, Josh moved to Perry IA in 1990 and now lives in Jamaica IA with his wife and two children.

Josh has been wrestling since he was six years and had a successful high school wrestling career placing twice at state. Josh also wrestled while attending Iowa Central Community college. Josh enjoys competing and pushing himself to constantly improve his skills, which is what motivated him to begin fighting mma.
